Many of our coastal clients consider an outdoor shower a must. These showers are a great way to enjoy the outdoors. They are also a practical way to keep beach sand out of your house.  Slipping under a warm outdoor shower after a day at the beach is a great summer pleasure.

Here are a few things to keep in mind when considering an outdoor shower:

• Take advantage of the views
• Consider lighting – many showers are used at night
• Plan a space for storing bathing supplies and hanging clothes
• Choose materials that complements your home’s architectural style and stand up to the elements
• Investigate local building codes – a must
